Hello there!
I’m Brenda. I am a registered ethical family celebrant with the Irish Institute of Celebrants and I would love to help you with your celebration!
For many years I’ve worked in business but I’ve always enjoyed working with people, both young and old, on a voluntary basis. With a love of music, I’ve been the co-ordinator of a youth choir for more than 20 years. I’ve helped raise funds for various charities by running band and concert nights and because of a dare, did a parachute jump from 10K feet. I am now in a Gospel choir and partake in lots of concerts and competitions.
Next to my family my other big love is for animals. I worked voluntary with The Dublin Society for the Protection and Cruelty against animals. Check out the photographs of my babies, Moe, Brownie, Clause and Frankie below.
Capacitar and Celebrancy
I am also a ‘Capacitar’ practitioner. ‘Capacitar’ empowers people to manage stress and emotions in their lives, so if you’re worried about being stressed on your big day, don’t be! I’ll be there to help you and offer some little techniques to help you cope.
I love being a Celebrant and hearing your Love Story, how you met, your first date, your first kiss and ultimately your proposal. I offer what is referred to as a blended ceremony. This whole ceremony will be driven by what you both want with no rules or regulations, merely guidelines. Together we will turn the wedding ceremony of your dreams into a reality. You can choose from many signature elements such as religious or/and non-religious readings, poetry, and music. It will involve meaningful rituals, some dating back to ancient times; Handfasting, Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony and The Time Capsule, to name but a few. I know how important it is to make every detail perfect and unique and would be delighted to help you customize your big day so that you both can enjoy every minute of a relaxed and loving ceremony. I love being a celebrant and can't wait to meet you all and hear all about your Love Story.
